Regular Membership is open to:

- any former staff members and officials of the UN. its funds, programmes and specialized agencies and other related organizations regardless of where they served or where they reside, who are members of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF);
- present staff members and officials of any of these; and,
- former experts, consultants, local and international staff who have served in the UN for at least a year on contractual status.

Associate Membership is open to:

the surviving spouse /registered partner or the divorced spouse of a member;
a member’s spouse/partner who opts to be an AFICS associate member;
members of any AFICS national association of retirees; and,
any person who wishes to be associated and is recommended by a regular member of good standing.

Honorary Membership is:

- conferred to individuals who have rendered meritorious service to the United Nations System (especially in the Philippines) and the Association, as approved by the Board of Trustees.

Spouses who are also UN staff members or retirees shall each pay the full individual rates.

Fees are waived for those 85 years and above.

** Current Lifetime Members are encouraged to pay a top-up of at least ₱2,000.
